Farmers’ Market bags have arrived! If you have not visited the market yet this season, be sure to stop by our Bethel Park Recreation tent to receive your free 2024 Farmers’ Market Reusable Bag! Perfect for all your market produce and goodies! These bags could not be possible without the generous support of our donor- the Bethel Park Community Foundation.
The Bethel Park Community Foundation (the “BPCF”) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) which embraces a philosophy of local philanthropy. Tax-deductible contributions made to the BPCF are applied to fund local life-quality initiatives as determined through our grant application process. The scope of BPCF embraces donors from all economic levels, from both within and beyond the boundaries of the Bethel Park community.
Established in accordance with these parameters and staffed exclusively by volunteers, the BPCF elected to concentrate its activities in the following five principal areas of enrichment:
- Community facilities
- Opportunities in education for citizens of all ages
- Expanded recreational and leisure time activities
- Increase exposure to the fine and performing arts
- Community Health and Safety
What began as an idealistic hope in 1994, has evolved into an active Foundation that continues to touch the lives of nearly every Bethel Park resident.
