Community Center Rental FAQ’s

How far in advance can rentals be booked?

  • We accept rental requests 6 months in advance of rental date


Can non-residents rent rooms?


Is alcohol allowed with room rentals?

  • Yes, there is a separate alcohol permit and additional charges. For more than 150 people attending the event with an alcohol permit, a constable is required and will be an additional cost.


Are guests permitted to use other areas of the Community Center with a rental?

  • Guests may use the lounge at no charge. Use of the walking track and gym are permitted with a membership or day pass. If desired, you can make arrangements in advance for guest use of those areas.


Is there a kitchen available?

  • There is a large commercial kitchen that can be added for an additional rental fee.


How much time is allotted for set up prior to my event?

  • Renters must include all hours needed for their event in the requested hours including pre-event preparation, event hours and clean up.

Is there a sound system available for rentals?

  • There is a sound system available to use (at no charge) in Room B. Renters are permitted to bring in portable sound systems for use in other rooms, but must monitor volume to not be detrimental to other room renters.


Who sets up the tables and chairs for events?

  • Our staff will set up tables and chairs per the renter layout at no additional charge. Room layouts must be submitted 1 week prior to rental date.


Am I able to hire my own caterer?

  • Yes, we do not have catering restrictions or preferred caterer lists.


Do you have tablecloths, dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. for rent?

  • Renters must make arrangements for those items. These items are limited.


What if I have to cancel my rental?

  • All cancellation request must be submitted in writing to the Community Center Director. Cancellations received in writing more than 60 days prior to the scheduled date will receive a refund of 50% of initial payment, less a $5 processing fee. No refund will be issued if written cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to scheduled rental date.
