Finance
The Municipal Finance Department consists of a director and support staff. The Finance Director attends every Municipal Council Meeting.
The Municipal Finance Department manages and accounts for all of the revenues and expenses of the Municipality and is the recipient of the CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) award. This award is bestowed to local governmental finance departments by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board in recognition of excellence in financial reporting. Beginning in 2021, CAFR Reports were replaced with COA Reports
The Preliminary Municipal Budget is presented to Council in September of each year and is adopted by the November Regular Meeting, which is typically the 2nd Monday of the month. A printed copy is available at the Bethel Park Public Library and is also provided on this website via the links below.
