SPLASH PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS


Splash Park Rules and Regulations
- Bethel Park Municipality reserves the right to remove participants that violate any of the rules/regulations below or for engaging in any illegal, disruptive, destructive, or inappropriate behavior without refund.
- Swimsuits must always be worn. Swim diapers with swimsuit for all toddlers.
- Those ages 13 and under must be under direct supervision of a parent/guardian at least 18 years of age.
- Bethel Park Municipality staff reserves the right to limit entry to park capacity.
- Use of Splash Park is prohibited during severe or dangerous weather. Instructions to vacate will be communicated by Bethel Park Municipality staff.
- Splash Park may close due to unforeseen circumstances such as maintenance, mechanical or operational needs or inclement weather without a refund.
- If lighting is detected less than 10 miles away, the park will close.
- A flag will be raised for inclement weather or maximum capacity.
- Food and drinks are permitted in the pavilion or grass area. Food and drinks are not permitted on the splash park surface.
- The Municipality of Bethel Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe, and family-oriented manner.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN SPLASH PARK:
- Animals, except service animals.
- Radios and other acoustical devices.
- Skateboards, skates, scooters, Rollerblades, bicycles, & similar recreation equipment.
- Personal tents, chairs, beach umbrellas, amplified music, or use of personal speakers.
- Coolers exceeding 7” x 7” x 9” (six-pack size) in dimensions. Limit one per person.
- Cigarettes, vapes, alcoholic beverages, or other intoxicating substances.
- Climbing, sitting, & playing on splash pad apparatus.
- Blocking or obstructing water fixtures or drains.
- Drinking splash park water, spitting, & spouting water from the mouth.
- Running, pushing, shoving, or any other horseplay.
- Profane or vulgar language.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN WATER SPRAY AREA:
- Water balloons, inflatable pool toys, athletic & other recreation equipment.
- Food, candy, gum, beverages, glass containers, or breakable objects.
- Soaps, detergents, and shampoos.
- Proper swim attire is required. Cutoffs are not permitted. No street shoes. Swim diapers are required for toddlers not restroom trained.
