Meet Your New Bethel Park Council!

On Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, Bethel Park Council held its annual reorganization meeting as newly elected Council members officially took office.


During the meeting, Council selected its leadership for the new term. Joe Janosik  (Ward 5) will serve as Council President, and Kim Kamenicky  (Ward 2) as Vice President. Each received 9 – 0 votes. 


The following newly elected members were sworn in:

  • Diane Ford (Ward 1)
  • John Oakes (Ward 3)
  • President Joe Janosik (Ward 5)
  • Jillian Kautzman (Ward 7)
  • Alison Piccolino (Ward 9)


They join returning Council members:

  • Vice President Kim Kamenicky (Ward 2)
  • Todd Cenci (Ward 4)
  • Jim Jenkins (Ward 6)
  • Viola Garis (Ward 8)

Regular Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Avenue, Bethel Park.

Please note that live and artificial Christmas trees can be placed at the curb for Bulk Pickup only (the first-full week of the month – beginning Jan. 5 th ). Live trees must be cut into 4 ft. sections in order to get them in the truck. Thanks for your kind attention and have a Happy New Year!
