The PRT Silver Line Could be Shut Down in 2026; Here's How You Can Help!

Did you know that Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s (PRT) Silver Line, a vital transportation route through Bethel Park, could be shut down in February 2026 unless PRT secures additional state funding? Losing this line would have a profound impact on our community, and YOUR input could be the key to saving it!

Tell PRT and your State Representatives (State Representative Natalie Mihalek & State Senator Devlin Robinson) how losing the Silver Line would affect YOU - our Bethel Park residents and business owners. You can contact PRT directly at Make Your Voice Heard!

Several PRT public hearings will be held as well:

TAKE ACTION TODAY! Contact your State Representatives, share your comments directly to PRT at Make Your Voice Heard! and also consider attending the public hearings. Together, we can make our voices heard to keep the Silver Line running.

Silver Line stops include: Washington Junction, Hillcrest, Lytle Station, Mesta, South Park Road, Munroe, Sarah, Logan Road, Kings School Road, Beagle, Sandy Creek, West Library, and Library Station.
