MINERS PARK

Two fields are located in the upper portion of Miners with a conveniently located concession stand with restrooms adjacent to the front upper field. Two batting cages are also on site. And, an ADA walkway, with an observation space, enables everyone to enjoy watching games on either field! A 40-space parking lot accessible from Main Street with

two additional handicapped parking spaces is available for guests.

The third field is located on the bottom portion of Miners Memorial Park with a parking lot accessible from Cherry street also with 40 parking spaces.

The three softball fields at Miners Park are home Bethel Park Girls Softball Association.

Children of all ages will find plenty of things to do on the playground equipment at Miners Memorial Park! The site includes an ADA compliant sidewalk from Cherry Street, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the playground. Amenities include:

• An Arch swing set with three swings, two infant swings and one inclusive swing.
• A Synergy play structure for little ones ages 2 – 5.
• The “Nucleus,” exclusive to Miners Memorial Park, for those ages 5 – 12 featuring a 10 ft. high enclosed Evolution Tower providing thrills for the older children!
• Additional free standing play equipment including an Orb Rocker, Standing Rocker, Spinetic Rotating Climber, and the Volta Inclusive Spinner.

If someone in your family loves music, the Percussion Play Outdoor Instruments will allow them to express their musicality! The setup includes a Cadenza, Badel Drum, and Soprano Pentatonic Freechimes. And, if the family enjoys basketball, then you’re in for a treat! Both full and a half court basketball is available.

A pavilion located in the lower field includes two picnic tables and a charcoal grill providing a great place to have a snack or picnic meal!
