October is here and Bethel Park has SO MANY fun activities for you to participate in this month! Read on to learn more.


FIND SALTY JR. CONTEST

Do you like to play ‘Hide & Seek?’ Salty does too! Each week in October, if you find Salty, take a pic with him and submit it on the Municipality’s Facebook, Instagram or X accounts by Friday at noon for a chance to win your own Salty Jr.! One winner will be selected via a randomizer app live at 4 p.m. the following Monday during the “Bethel Park Minute. ”The last drawing will be held Monday, Oct. 28. There will be a total of four winners.


EVERYONE who enters throughout the month will have a chance to win one of 10 $25 Gift Cards too! Gift card winners will be announced at the Nov. 11 Council Meeting.


If you’d like clues to find Salty, download the Municipality’s new MessageSpring App! Log on to www.bethelparkpa.gov, click on the top right “Subscribe to Us” button, scroll down and click “Subscribe Via MessageSpring App,” then watch for details. Be sure to have your location ON!

SPOOKTACULAR PARADE

Oct. 26 at 9 a.m.

Grab your costumes and come to our annual Halloween Parade! Once again, we’ll have two parade routes(North & South) with a variety of special vehicles and surprises for kids along the way!  We’ll be posting the parade routes very soon, right here, so check back!


You can use our new MessageSpring app to find out when the parade is coming near your home. To use it, follow the steps noted under the Salty contest above!


Can’t make the parade? No worries! We’ll have it live on our Municipality of Bethel Park and BPTV Facebook pages.

Spring leaf collection will be held May 11-15 . Leaves need to be in lawn and leaf bags and placed at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on your regularly scheduled pickup day . As a reminder, different trucks are used for trash, bulk, recycling and leaf collection.
