Gas Line Work scheduled to begin in January

Columbia Gas


Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, Columbia Gas subcontractor NPL Inc. will be replacing the main gas line on Highland Road, Lutz Lane and Summit Street. Work will begin at the intersection of Bethel Church and Highland Roads. The project is expected to take three months to complete.


People’s Gas


Starting Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, People’s Gas will be replacing their mainline on Kings School Road starting at Collie Drive and ending at Boyerview Street. Installation is expected to take two months followed by restoration in the spring.


Both projects will have flaggers onsite to direct traffic.

Spring leaf collection will be held May 11-15 . Leaves need to be in lawn and leaf bags and placed at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on your regularly scheduled pickup day . As a reminder, different trucks are used for trash, bulk, recycling and leaf collection.
